Clicks Group presents an exciting opportunity to partake in a Learnership Programme aimed at qualifying as a Pharmacist Assistant. This role falls under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.
Job Description:
Learnership Programme:
- Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.
- A structured learning experience encompassing theoretical and practical aspects, culminating in a qualification registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
- As a Learner on this programme, you will accomplish the following objectives:
Learner Responsibilities:
- Successfully fulfill the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy, supervised by an approved tutor.
- Attend mandatory training interventions and excel in competency assessments.
- Compile a Portfolio of Evidence.
- Support the healthcare team in one of Click’s Pharmacies, adhering to the guidelines set by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC), under the watchful eye of a registered Pharmacist.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualification Requirement:
- Essential: Completion of Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Mathematical Literacy), 50% in English, and a Pass in Life Science (Biology)/Physics.

Work Back Agreement:
Successful applicants will be required to enter into a work back agreement and serve as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant at Clicks for a period equalling the learnership duration as a minimum.
Contractual Hours:
45 hours over 6 days.
