Job Description EThekwini Municipality is offering opportunities for Work Experience, Inservice-Training/Work Integrated Learning (WIL), and Internships in various fields. Applications are open to candidates who have completed their qualifications (graduates) as well as those who require 18 months of work integrated learning in the study field of Life Science.

Benefits The monthly stipend is structured as follows:

  • R2 509.42p.m (less than 2 years qualification & N6)
  • R4 069.35p.m (2-year qualification)
  • R5 086.71p.m (National Diploma, B. Degree, and BTech)
  • R5 934.49p.m (Post-graduate Diploma and Honours Degree)
  • R7 630.06p.m (Masters)

Requirements Applicants must possess a recognized qualification(s). The following qualifications are considered:

  • Microbiology
  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Biotech/Biomedical Technology
  • Zoology
  • Botany
  • Hydrology

Individuals who have previously participated or benefited from Government or private sector Work Experience/Internship/In-service/WIL Programmes for a period of 12 months and above will not be considered.
